April 7th 2004 Race 1

First: Rush

Second: Amanzimtoti

Third: Forza!

Northerly F4/5 dropping 2/3 towards the end of the race. The crews were a little rusty, being the first race of the season.

First: Rush, Second: Amanzimtoti, Third: Shere Khan
Roger McDonald almost had the race won sailing Amanzimtoti to the Dennis Mark, but arrived about half a minute before 19.45hrs when the race was set to end. This meant that the race continued to the Nare Mark, allowing Tony Statham to sail Rush past Amanzimtoti and into first place.
