Jetta led the way out to the Manacle Buoy and managed to hold on to the lead round Gull Rock.
The wind picked up and became quite gusty at Gull Rock, forcing Jetta to change to a smaller headsail.
All the way back Rush was slowly gaining on Jetta, finally getting past within a few yards of the finish,
with only 3 seconds of actual elapsed time separating the two boats after a 3½ hour race.
