Asterix unfortunately suffered gear problems and retired before starting. The wind was very unpredicatable, and made setting a good course difficult. Forza! lost a spinnacker halyard during the run out to Porthallow, but managed to gain ground on Flo by picking the North side of the river for the beat back up.

This was Flos first race, hence the trial handicap number and start time. Well done to Peter and James Norton, we look forward to seeing Flo in future weekend racing.

The series was won by Forza! with Asterix in second place. Well done to Andy Dennis and the crew of Fora! for their first series win. Flo, Jetta and Amanzimtoti each sailed one race in the series.
